Lynch Schwab, PLLC

Labor and Employment

Lynch Schwab provides our clients with tailored representation on a wide array of legal matters.  We work with in-house counsel, human resource professionals and management to provide guidance through increasingly complex federal, state and local laws pertaining to the workplace. The firm handles all aspects of employment discrimination, preparation of employee handbooks, severance agreements, non-compete and confidentiality agreements and workplace policies.  Our attorneys prepare all aspects of employment contracts and policies, and tailor them to our clients needs.  The firm also provides training to management and its employees on important workplace issues. Counseling services are also provided to national, regional and small businesses on employment and labor issues, including employee discipline, promotions, terminations and sexual harassment investigations.

Labor and employment law is a specialty of the Firm.  One of our partners serves as general counsel to a nationwide supply and distribution company which maintains employees in almost every State.  In that capacity he is responsible for all employment counseling matters with the Company.  Likewise, our Firm oversees the nationwide litigation for the Company, which includes interviewing other attorneys to serve as local counsel. This enables us to centralize legal representation and to promote uniform commercial results.  Our Firm has been involved in multi-jurisdictional litigation with significant implications to the parties.  In a recent claim, our Firm participated in the settlement of an action involving numerous sales employees with gross revenues well into the seven figures leaving one competitor for another, addressing the enforceability of non-competition and non-disclosure agreements.
